Moonlight (2016)

Not a film with suboptimal talented black actors trying to pass as art in film. This is not a black movie, in fact. It is a well-directed film that happens to showcase black actors. Real actors. It is quiet and understated and that is the gem of this film that doesn’t over feed the audience with detail. One must think on his own while watching this film. It allows you to guess, interpret, anticipate, and form one’s own deductions. It is good. True film-making.
